After some time University of Punjab Act Ordinance 1954, the Board of Secondary Education was established. This took the control of all the exams of matriculation and Secondary Education from University of Punjab. First examination under bise Lahore Board was conducted in 1995. After some time when there were a lot of students which could not be handled by single Board, they establish two more Boards names Multan Board and Sargodha Board.
